Leading up to the Olympics and during the festivities I had the pleasure of working alongside Gillian Maxwell, her assistant Sarah Spencer and the many SafeGames2010 volunteers. I gained an appreciation for Gillian’s vision, her confidence and her extraordinary ability to build successful partnerships which I believe contributed to the success of this initiative."
